- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ⅔ cup raisins
- ½ cup sliced green olives, roughly chopped some more
- 2 tablespoons capers, rinsed and drained
- Heat oil in large skillet. Add onion and green pepper and sauté over medium heat until tender, about 7 minutes
- Add turkey and sauté, stirring, until turkey is fully cooked
- Add tomatoes, oregano and raisins. Bring to boil, then reduce heat to simmer over low heat for 5 minutes
- Remove from heat and stir in olives and capers
