Birthday season is in full swing for us right now. The Dot celebrated her birthday a few weeks ago, and we have a number of family birthdays approaching. I was referencing the icing recipe in my Monster Truck Birthday Cake post and realized I never shared Lamborghini's birthday cake from last year. So today I'm doing a throwback post to the Om Nom birthday cake we made for Lamborghini's fifth birthday. Like the monster truck cake and pretty much all the cakes I make for the kids, this Om Nom ... continue reading...
Our Coastal Family Room Before and After
I finally had time to photograph the updates we've made to our family room. This room is right off of the kitchen and is one of my favorite rooms in the house. Easter Weekend Recap and an Easter Table Setting
Hello all and Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. We had such a wonderful time celebrating Easter over the weekend. I take orchid plants in like little lost dogs or cats and add them to my collection, but very rarely do they rebloom because I forget to fertilize them. Well I'm happy to say that I have found a design-forward way to display these bloomless beauties that requires very little effort. Check out my DIY orchid arrangement: I've had this idea in my head for a while now but was ... continue reading...
Serena and Lily Inspired Coffee Table IKEA Hack

While I have have been lucky to snag Serena and Lily bedding and pillows during sales, I can't (nor could I probably ever) justify spending $1,000+ on a coffee table, especially when my ... continue reading...
